Luxury Small Weekend for a 10-Year Family Anniversary near Portofino

For their 10-year anniversary, the couple wanted something more personal than a celebration and more intimate than a second wedding. Their request was to create a luxury small weekend with their closest family — a warm celebration of love, memory and everything they had built together.

Set in a private villa above the Ligurian Sea, near Portofino, the anniversary was designed around one central idea: to open “the tenth room” of their love story.

The SENRISEA Team shaped the weekend through small but meaningful scenes: the woman in white again, a long table facing the sea, handwritten menus…

Nothing was made to feel staged. Every detail of the private event was placed to make ten years visible — not as a number, but as a home, a table, a view, a touch, a shared silence.

More than an anniversary dinner, it became a private family ritual on the Italian Riviera — intimate, refined and full of life.

Vision

The main idea was to build a room without walls.

The villa, the pool and the sea became the main scenography. White was used as the emotional code: the dress, the linen, the flowers, the menus, the sunlit stone. Around it, the natural palette of the Ligurian coast did the rest — sea blue, terracotta roofs, cypress green, agave shadows and warm stone.

The table was placed not simply for a beautiful view, but for a precise emotional frame: family in the foreground, horizon behind them. A composition where ten years of private life suddenly became visible.

Taste

The menu was curated by a private chef as a refined Riviera family lunch.

It began by the pool with chilled champagne, citrus notes, marinated olives, seafood bites, seasonal tartlets and small Mediterranean canapés. The lunch continued with fresh fish, grilled vegetables, handmade pasta, lemon, olive oil, herb sauces and light fruit-based desserts.

The food had to feel elegant, but not distant. Generous, but not heavy. It was a chef-led experience with the warmth of a family table — exactly the balance the anniversary needed.

Sound

The sound was directed around presence.

The sea below the villa, glasses touching, cutlery on porcelain, children’s voices, quiet conversations, someone laughing from the other end of the table. Music stayed low and warm, never trying to lead the moment.

The emotional peak was the anniversary toast. No performance, no unnecessary spectacle — just ten years, one table, and the people who had watched this love become a family.

Touch

Warm stone underfoot, crisp white linen, cool crystal, handwritten paper, lace sleeves, fresh flower stems, sun on skin, a chair pulled closer for a child. The details were not decorative only — they were physical, close, lived-in.

The Senrisea Team avoided glossy luxury. Here, luxury was in proportion, comfort and materials that guests could actually feel.

Smell

The scent came from the villa and the coast: sea air, sun-warmed stone, white flowers, citrus, herbs, clean linen and champagne.

As a final gesture, guests received a small scented keepsake inspired by the day — neroli, fig leaf, soft wood and sea salt.

Not a branded souvenir, but a way to remember the anniversary room: the villa, the table, the sea, and the air around ten years of love.
